Hours of Operation

Long Valley Christian Nursery School is open from September through May. A complete school calendar of special events, trips and holidays is given to all enrolled children (extra copies are available in the office).

School Hours: Our normal school hours are as follows:

AM Session: 8:40 am - 11:10 am

AM Session with a 12:45 pm Dismissal: 8:40 am – 12:45 pm

AM Session with a 1:00 pm Dismissal: (5 -day Pre-K &Transitional Kindergarten) 8:55 am -1:00 pm

Extended Day: 12:00 pm - 2:45 pm M -TH

PM Session: 12:15 pm - 2:45 pm

Extended Day

Extended Day is offered to children every afternoon M-TH until 2:45pm. Then instead of going home at 12:45pm/1:00 pm, they have an afternoon of enrichment classes including karate, dance, fitness, mindfulness, friends, play, creativity, story, games, outside or Big Room and snack in a relaxing, comfortable environment safely supervised by enrichment coordinators and our Extended Day Teachers. Children must be 3.6 and toilet trained to attend extended day. If your child is attending LVCNS am thru pm on any day and they are under 4 years of age, please send your child with a small rug or blanket so that they might comfortably rest if they feel the need.

Call the office to make reservations. In order to cancel your reservation, you must provide the office with 24 hours’ notice or you will be billed for that day.

Extended Day will not be offered on Christmas Program Days or End-of-Year Program Days and some select special program days.
